Our approach to drugs education and response to any incident at the academy (or on any academy trips/visits) is detailed in our Drugs Policy. It covers
- All illegal drugs
- All legal drugs, including alcohol, tobacco, volatile substances, ketamine, khat and alkyl nitrites (poppers or liquid gold)
- All over-the-counter and prescription medicines
- Psychoactive substances, ‘legal highs’ and other unauthorised substances

A Smoking cessation programme is offered to students at the academy which is delivered by the Choices Team on a regular basis.
