  • Red Nose Day 2017

    The Axholme Academy raised a fantastic £377.76 for Red Nose Day. The money was raised by selling red noses in form time, Non-uniform day for staff & students, A ‘Sweet Treet’ stall with sweets, popcorn, cookies and cakes donated by students and staff.

    A big thank you to Miss Patrick for organising the day’s event and to everyone else who donated cakes etc. or contributed to the event.

  • Not in our Community

    Not in our Community is a campaign set up by the police to educate young children on sexual exploitation and how to recognise the signs. Four of our students took part in this workshop; William Kelly, Charlie Czerwinskyj, Jade Garland, and Lucy Jacksonon  on Thursday 2nd March at Hessle High School;  to try and spread the message across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire to young children in schools.

  • TWICKENHAM 6 NATIONS VISIT FOR SHIRT UNVEIL

    On Sunday 26th February Kieran Sibley (Year 10), Mr Beesley and Mrs Hall set off for London at 6am ready for a day at Twickenham and the 6 Nations clash between England and Italy. The main reason for this was that Kieran was going to be on the hallowed Twickenham turf alongside the England players for the national anthem before the game. Kieran was to do this wearing the brand new student designed Axholme Academy Rugby Kit, developed by Tobias Crow, Ryan Elviss, Jonny Gracey and Kieran himself and produced for us by Canterbury.
