Over the May Bank Holiday weekend The Axholme Academy descended on PGL at Caythorpe Court for our annual camping trip. 32 students and 4 staff spent three days abseiling off of towers, firing arrows at targets, and climbing a variety of obstacles. The High Ropes course proved once again to be one of the favourite activities with several students running around in the tree tops on numerous occasions. The weather, as is now traditional, was once again slightly wet, but the students were not deterred as they worked together to climb the All Aboard tower in what can only be described as a monsoon! The weather brightened up towards the end of weekend as we enjoyed whizzing around on the quad bikes and leaping off the platform onto the trapeze. Once again a very successful and enjoyable weekend was had by all, looking forward to next years trip already!
