  • U13's Cricket Tournament

    A great performance from our students who played in the North Lincs girls U13 indoor cricket tournament at the Ancholme Leisure Centre on Thursday.

    Our team played 3 games and although this was new to them, huge improvements were made each time - particularly with the batting! Well done to you all - we're proud of you for representing our Academy in such a determined and professional manner.

  • Dodgeball Success!

    A brilliant effort from our 2 girls dodgeball teams representing the Academy at the Scunthorpe Schools Tournament.

    Our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 teams both finished a fantastic third overall. We also received glowing reports for their conduct and attitude on the night, making our PE department very proud indeed.

    Special mentions also go to year 8 student Ruby and year 9 student Fawn, for receiving 'player of the match' awards.

    Just wow! Look at these mouth watering dishes prepared by our GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students, for their 3 hour practical exam earlier this week.

    The skills and techniques used were at an extremely high level - and as you can see, the presentation was outstanding!

  • Year 9 advance to Cup semi final

    Our year 9 football team put in a brilliant first half display on Wednesday, racing into a 5-1 lead. Although the hosts pulled 2 back to make it 5-3, the lads managed the game well to advance to the cup semi final! Well done to you all for a fantastic and polished performance - looking forward to the next game!

    Our Year 7 football team put in their best performance of the season this week, with a huge 6-2 victory in their plate semi final. As you can see, they definately gave it their all - in very muddy conditions!

    We took part in the U15s netball tournament at St Bedes on Wednesday. Despite it being the first time they had played together as a team, our girls battled the high winds, worked hard for each other and played very well - whilst having lots of fun representing our Academy.
