Four of our learners from year 10 took part in a “Maths Feast” competition organised by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme and the MEI, the Mathematics Education Innovation.

The Advanced Mathematics Support Programme is a government-funded initiative. It aims to increase participation in Core Maths, AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and improve the teaching of these level 3 maths qualifications.

  • 100 LAP CHALLENGE RAISES £815!!!

    Published 11/03/21

I would like to say once again, a huge thanks to all of you that supported the 100 Lap Challenge. There is always a hardcore of support for any challenge like this that we set and I feel it really shows the community spirit that is a big part of our Academy.

£815 is a fantastic total and I am sure Sheffield Children’s Hospital will be delighted with the funds raised. I also hope that it may have spurred some of you on to be more active and get out in the fresh air more often. The physical and mental benefits of exercise in the great outdoors have never been more valuable than during these national lockdowns.

    Thanks for your support,

    Mr L. Beesley
