The 100 LAP PHYSICAL CHALLENGE Week 1 Update
Published 25/02/21First of all I would like to thank the 120 people that signed up to the challenge; an incredible amount of support and a range of students, parents, siblings and staff are taking part in a variety of ways. There are also 5 dogs signed up too and I know that Arthur who belongs to Mr C. Thompson is feeling the pace as he continues to complete each 1 mile lap!
Mr Hague completed his 100 Lap Challenge in one fell swoop and this was a cracking effort! He completed 100 laps of the school site and this included covering a distance of 20km, 220 floors and 800 flights of stairs! Well done Mr Hague.
I have so far covered 14km out of my 40km (35 laps of the running track out of 100) so need to get out this weekend for a run to get some more distance covered!
I have enjoyed hearing the different ways people are doing the laps and these range from laps of grandparents garden, laps of the local playing field, laps of the riverbank, laps of a farm and for the students in school, laps of the 3G pitch.
