🏃♀️🏃♂️ What a fantastic day at our Sports Day! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
From exciting races to incredible determination and enthusiastic cheering, our students gave it their all. It was wonderful to see resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship on display throughout the day.
A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers, and families for helping make the event such a success, and congratulations to all of our students for their outstanding effort and positive attitude.

Students enjoyed a fantastic day out in York, beginning with a visit to the National Railway Museum, where they explored the history of rail travel through interactive exhibits and iconic locomotives. The day also included an open-top bus tour, giving students the opportunity to take in York's famous landmarks and learn more about the city's rich history. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and educational trip, with students representing the school brilliantly throughout the day.

Our students did us so proud, competing without our Y10 team but pushing themselves regardless.
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the following teams, first time competing in division 1 and placed:

Our students stepped into new roles, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the many people who help our school thrive each day. They developed essential skills, built new relationships, and appreciated our staff's tireless efforts.
We're proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to making a positive impact!

Our students enjoyed a fantastic trip exploring the beautiful Opal Coast of France, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The adventure included an exhilarating ride on the famous Fire Dragon roller coaster, where excitement and laughter were in abundance.
The group also spent time along the picturesque Calais beachfront, taking in the fresh sea air and stunning coastal views. To round off the cultural experience, many students bravely sampled a traditional French delicacy – escargot – embracing the opportunity to try something new and broaden their culinary horizons.
It was a wonderful trip filled with fun, adventure, and cultural discovery, giving our students a memorable taste of everything the Opal Coast has to offer.

A special thank you goes to our invited guests for joining us to present awards and celebrate the success of our students. Your support helped make the evening even more memorable.
Congratulations to all of our award winners and nominees. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and thank our staff, parents and carers for their continued support in helping our students succeed.

The government is cutting VAT from 20% to 5% on family days out — from cinema and theatre tickets to attractions, and children's meals out. Less to pay, more summer to enjoy.
Congratulations to our Year 8 students on their excellent Extended Project presentations this week. Their presentations and enthusiasm were a joy to see!
