  • Y8 Aspirations Day at JLC

    Published 06/05/26

Our students began their visit with an exciting tour of the John Leggott campus, getting a real feel for college life. One of the highlights was the games design suite, where students can create and test their own games, explore esports, and experience cutting-edge virtual reality technology.

The tour also included a visit to the drama studio, sports facilities, darkroom, humanities building, and the outdoor social spaces. Of course, no visit would be complete without stopping by the popular Costa café in the cafeteria.

Following the tour, our Year 8 students took part in an inspiring talk focused on career pathways and the importance of thinking ambitiously about their futures.

To round off the experience, they worked collaboratively on a group challenge, exploring potential career paths through a real-world scenario, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and forward-thinking.

A special thank you to JLC for their valuable support and contribution.
