Venice Sketchbook Workshop

As part of the art trip to Venice during the Easter Holidays; year 10 students from The Axholme Academy attended a workshop at Grimsby Central Library. The workshop gave the opportunity  to meet other students from Humberston Academy and Huntcliff Secondary School who will also be going on the trip. It also gave an opportunity for students to find out more about what type of art work they will be creating and to be given their own  engraved  Venice 2013 sketchbook  with a selection of art materials which they will use to record their visit. This workshop was a good opportunity for students to begin prepping backgrounds and gathering resources in their sketchbooks ready for Venice.
