Slopes, Smiles, and Success: Our Unforgettable Ski Trip to Bansko

Our recent ski trip to Bansko, Bulgaria, was an overwhelming success, providing 42 of our students from Years 8 through 11 with a week of adventure, personal growth, and cultural discovery. From the first chairlift to the final descent, the trip was a masterclass in resilience and school spirit.

Developing Skills on the Snow

Under the guidance of our expert local instructors, every student—from complete beginners to seasoned pros—showed remarkable progress. It was inspiring to watch their confidence grow each day. The week culminated in a special presentation evening, where students were proudly awarded their skiing diplomas, marking their hard work and technical improvement on the slopes.

Beyond the Piste: Culture and Community

The trip was about so much more than just skiing. Our students fully immersed themselves in the Bulgarian culture, including:

Culinary Adventures: Sampling traditional local dishes in the hotel's restaurant and, of course, a highly popular pizza night!

Evening Thrills: A high-energy sledging session that proved to be a highlight for many.

Cross-Year Bonding: One of the most rewarding aspects was seeing students from Years 8, 9, 10, and 11 supporting one another, forging new friendships across different year groups.

A Huge Well Done

We are incredibly proud of how our students conducted themselves. They returned home not just as better skiers, but as a more tight-knit community with memories that will last a lifetime.
