Students at the Axholme Academy were captivated by a performance of “Perfect” this week when Theatre In Education Company Tiny Giants visited with their gripping tale with a moral. The play, based on real life tragedy, tells the story of a teenager who, after being thrown through the windscreen in a car accident because she wasn’t wearing her seat belt, has numerous operations and hundreds of stitches to her face and head. The students’ attention was grabbed by the quick pace and use of comedy, which made the impact of the end of the play all the more powerful.

“Students had their emotions mauled for an hour, but I am sure that because of that, they will take away the strong message that wearing a seat belt is a vital part of road safety” said Head of PSHE Bronwen Gwyther
