Hello Yellow

This year we were encouraged to wear something yellow in order to show young people that they’re not alone when it comes to their mental health.

Wearing yellow is about reminding everyone that it’s OK not to be OK and that it’s a sign of strength to ask for help, not a sign of weakness.

Students got some useful tips about looking after their own mental health and about supporting their friends who may be struggling.

Students decorated their classrooms with banners bearing positive messages encouraging young people to talk more about how they are feeling and to look after their mental health.
