The film entitled ‘Missing’ was created in Autumn 2011 by students from the 8B English class at The Axholme Academy and was part of a project with Crowle Primary School for ‘Everybody Writes Day.’ The project looked at creative writing to explore the fictional story of a young girl who ran away because of bullying and neglect. After scripting and storyboarding the 8B English class acted out events to create a short film which was later shown at Crowle Primary School. Four students from the class, Chloe Brocklesby, Christian Harte, Milly Pottage, and Phoebe Shipman visited Crowle Primary School as characters from the film. A hot seating exercise allowed the primary school pupils to ask questions about the characters and plot. The film 'Missing' has been distributed to local secondary schools as part of 'Anti-Bullying Week' and was nominated for an award.
